Janet Momoh is a lawyer with a practice spanning multiple jurisdictions, including Alberta, Canada, the United Kingdom, and Sierra Leone, with a core focus on corporate and commercial law, international law, human rights law, and litigation. Her work and professional experience have involved navigating complex legal systems and addressing complex legal issues across multiple jurisdictions.

 

Through these experiences, Janet developed a deep interest in the realities of legal practice beyond doctrine and procedure, particularly the pressures, expectations, and sustainability of legal career. Barlance was founded on the conviction that professional excellence in law should not come at the expense of wellbeing, purpose, or balance.
